Please help:yikes: as stated in the subject line I need either a 75 fork slider or a set of 76 sliders. This is the last thing I need to complete my build and start painting. Please help

That's why I wanted to grind them because of the mounts being on opposite sides. I just want the mounts ground off to clear things up

Question 1 are 75 and 76 fork sliders interchangeable as they are both 34mm? Question 2 does anyone know someone who can grind the fork sliders, no need to polish as they will be painted

I am in need of lower fork sliders(34mm) do you know what years the bikes were or can you measure the forks?

Not gonna be on road 4 awhile stripping it down for paint and powdercoating. So ill prob. Just wait to buy some. I have never ridden the bike paid 300 for runnuning bike stripped it down cut and welded in a rigid and a lot of other upgrades. So I'm kinda leary of riding it and the ring popping off.

After removing the dust covers to replace my fork seals I notice that both my fork sliders are chipped. The chip does not go pass the retaining ring lip. Is this common? Should I replace them or reuse them?:shrug:

Upon tearing into my 75 fork seals I noticed there is a chip in each fork slider where the previous owner tried to pry out the seals. They only go to the retaining ring detent and may be ok but I'm not sure I want to risk it, so if anyone has a set or if you just have the left or right slider...

I'll look at my trees I know they are the clamp style which I think is also newer than 75

I have a 75 xs650 where the guy before me ground off the front brake mounting ears from the lower fork legs. Will a set of 78 forks fit my triple tree?

Before I mess something up I have a question. I've read the instructions from mikes Pma kit and for hhb Pma, mikes does not mention anything about finding tdc before taking off old rotor while hhb does. Does this matter as the rotor has a key way and can only go on one way?:confused:

Where should I put the 7.5a fuse, between the pamco and the coil?

Do you need a breaker or will a 30a fuse work?:confused:
