First XS650 Build, What to Look For

Looking good and bringing back memories. Hopefully the cylinders are stuck at mid height and not TDC or BDC; I used some WD40 Rust Release Penetrant Spray, a torch to heat the cylinders, a block of wood, and a BFH for unsticking my CB500T. Personally I recommend ripping down the bottom end...

Recently hit 1400 miles on the girl without major issue. The rear fender needed slight modifications as it cracked twice from the vibrations, so had to be shortened up a bit but still is amazing. Been busy with life and looking forward to this winter to give her a full clean down. Also picked...

Any Recommendations for a Good Set of Metric Wrenches?

I've always used craftsmen and had excellent reliability and if one broke off to sears i go for a replacement. Picked up mine from estate auctions.

    She runs again, but....

Alright good to hear. When I rebuilt mine for the first time I had the carb holders upside down this causing a sever angle of the carbs, had all sorts of issues tuning. Then after several hours of looking at pictures and multiple beers came to the realization of my mistake. Good luck and ride safe.
