swapped out the lucas for a bullet light. i think its cleaner, and it mimics the headlight. . . and the bike is pretty much done now. after some odd carb issues, she is now running good and on the road. .

minus cables and a brake hose, she's pretty much done. .

front end is all buttoned up. wheel now has stainless spokes and nipples matching the rear. .

bike is now fully wired. installed the lid for the last time.

picked up the chrome this morning.

got my pieces back from the polisher. i replaced all the hardware with stainless, including the 13 acorn nuts for the tappet covers. . .

got the engine in, and the fender and electronics box hung. also got all the wiring routed though the frame. also replaced all the hardware (minus the long lower bolt) with shaved and polished stainless hardware. electronics box and brake light switch/charging wires shown. . thats about...

added some heat barrier to the exhaust mount since the pipes will rest against it. i doubt the pipes will ever get hot enough that far towards the rear, but better safe than sorry. also picked up the tins today from my painter. he busted them out pretty fast and did a great job. the chrome...
