    clutch cables?

I have an 81 special and my clutch cable said buh bye today during my ride home. I shifted clutchless all the way home, and I was wondering what kind of clutch cables are good? are most interchangeable? where can i get them other than mikes?

Mike's Big Bore 750 kit opinions

I am thinking about doing the upgrade to 750. I was wondering what everyone's opinions on this were and what the procedure would entail? new carbs? new jets? is it hard to do? I am running the stock carbs on my 81 xs650 special, with a jet kit. any input, thoughts, and ideas exchanged here...

    Yamaha Bolt

Id be in the market for a moto or a triumph if I were to be shopping for one. The bolt is extremely low seated and I look like an ape on it, even worse than on a sportster. I think it is a fine looking bike though!

Help with stock special exhaust removal! 78-83

so would it be possible to take the headers and mufflers off as one unit? If I do it this way, do I have to replace any gaskets then? also, my crossover seems to be in pretty bad shape, if for some reason it were to break would it be detrimental to the remounting of the exhaust?

Help with stock special exhaust removal! 78-83

I am trying to take my headerpipes and mufflers off of both sides of my 81 special to detail the chrome... Where do I begin, and what is the proper process? I am sure I could fuck something up royally if I am not informed on exhaust removal.

I went down for the first time this weekend

it wasn't REALLY the Harley's fault, just a little biased I supposed. Im used to the way my smaller engine bikes handle, and I know I would have had control had I been on one of them, but hey! hindsight is 20/20!
