i've got a 75 that runs great, 90% original has clubman handle bars. some dents in tank along with few scratches here and there. i'm thinking about selling it go but 2,000 would be the price for me to say ok ill let it go.

going to be hard to find a good running xs650 for $1500 or less here in FL.

thanks 5twins after pulling out the seal I saw I didnt have the steel bushing behind the seal which was allowing play in the shaft along with a good leak. got her all buttoned up and runs with no leaks. now I just have to trouble shoot my idle problem, ill be sure to do some reading before I ask...

when I slide the case cover on shouldnt the seal fit pretty snug around the shaft keeping oil from coming out?
