I am curious I run a salvage yard and the rule of thumb as I am told is a buck a cc that is also adjustable with condition and kind of motor etc. I was just wondering what people find them for not the "score" price.

So what is a good XS650 motor worth?

It sets up ok but takes about 12 hours to fully dry. I used tape to keep it moulded in place then sanded it how I wanted it.

I have used it with great success you need to use the long set stuff it has more metal in it. Thats Directly from my powder coating guy.

I tried to order the Pamco Ultimate High Output Ignition System that is out of stock and a set of carbs.

Well that blows Just put together an order with Mikes XSDirect to find out what I want is out of stock. Well what now lol

If the company wasn't doing anything to fix the issue then ya do a crappy product thread. Personally I am not a fan of doing that given how many people claim issues with products that are not the products fault :twocents:

Just got pointed to this thread from another thread where I am asking for advice on what setup to buy from pamco. Hopefully this all gets fixed before I order my setup (not sure on what set up to get at this point but I given the snapping mounts I may not be)

I would like to upgrade the ignition and charging. I can rewire the lights with no problem, the fuze box will be upgraded to blade fuzes. I am just stuck on what the best way to go is concerning the ignition and charging given the many options that are around.

I just picked up a 1978xs650 and I want to upgrade the electrical. I am bobbing it and want to retain the electric start as well as the kick start along with signals and tail and headlight. I will also be using a battery so whats the best recipe to do this? Thanks
