    How do determine which clutch cable to get

    Thanks for the responses everyone! I've had issues with Mikesxs already just asking a simple question so I gave up on them right away. I didn't know about the other adjustment. I just adjusted the handlebar one and it came all the way unthreaded. Can't wait to get it all nice and pretty...

    Clutch pops out of gear from 2nd to 3rd

    New to motorcycles in general but have a good understanding of mechanics so please bear with me here. I have a 1981 XS650 which pops out of gear when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. I can drop it back into 3rd afterwards but it consistently pops out going up. Any ideas what I can check...

    How do determine which clutch cable to get

    Long time lover, first time rider here. My friend just gave me his old 1981 XS650. It needed a little cosmetic work (Gas cap needed replacement, duct tape holding on turn signals, etc.) Everything is in order now except the clutch cable. I can't adjust it any further so I need to replace it...
