okay thank you..im currently running a 20 amp but ill replace it with a 7.5..good news is that i got the bike running. i was not getting any spark to the plugs because as you can see in the video there was no fuse in the fuse holder :doh: lol. thanks to you all who helped and replied.

I believe you are right my friend. I looked all over the rod and that what I've concluded is that the pins already come installed on the advance rod.

Question for you brother.. When you installed the pamco from mikesxs kit, did you use 2 bronze bushings on the right side? Reason I ask is because my kit came with 3 bronze bushings, 2 of them I used but I have one spare. Also 3 locating pins came with the kit and I only used 1 so obviously 2...

Yes it has all the stock stuff.. I f-up and took the alternator off with out making sure I had the engine TDC... Dang it

Is it recommended to start at TDC when removing and installing the pma? Didn't say anything in the instructions...

After a long time waiting finally got the kit from mikesxs... I'll read the instructions tonight and hopefully have installed by tomorrow

kind of hate that you cant speak to anyone on the phone over at mikesxs..so im hoping i ordered the right kit and they send the right kit. i know intructinions will come with the kit but is there anything else i should know, do i have to mess with the timing?
