I'm having the same problem on a 72, it runs really well but black carbon plugs in a hurry! How do I tell the needles r they stamped with the number!? I'm going to be tearing them apart here to investigate!

Xs Leo is correct at least with my leaky bled set! I had to pull it out clean with steel wool actuall I think I use 1000 sandpaper n put it back in n hasn't wakes since!

This has been a proble with my motor, I wih the help of this forum figured out it was the advance rods sticking n I followed 5twin advise n pulled my advanced weights n rod cleaned n lube! It still wanted to stick but not as bad so I had to cut a spring n still stuck so cut the second sprin and...

Almost complete still need to make a fender fit, cover seat, exhaust wrap n get a front ss brake line! Can't wait til build off n meet all u xs junkies out there!

I tried auto zone an advances but didn't have any that small! I will keep looking just hate to not be riding cause of a stupid clip but what do u do!! Thanks

I extended my exhaust which hit my gifted so I cut it further up but now to short!! Need a shifter arm! Don't have to be pretty I'm just going to cut dril n tap it anyway!! Anyone can help me out let me know!

I actually thought of that n the hoses where already off the breather but I am pretty sure it was from up front! But I'm goin to run it now n see what it does! Is there anything inside I have to worry about falling out on etc. when I pull the cover off!???
