I got the throttle and cables with them. As I understand the cables are too short, I wonder if the Vulcan cables are longer I found out the Vulcan carbs are 32mm mine are 34mm. I'm going to soak everything in Pinesol tonight and throw all of it in the ultrasonic at work tomorrow.

And, are the carbs from a VN500 Vulcan the same as the EX? I read on chop cult that the EN450, EX500 and the VN500 are all the same motors, so would the carbs all be the same fit? I know this isn't a Kawasaki site, but I thought someone may have come across this info while exploring this swap.

I just opened up my EX carbs and I have clip type needles in there. I was expecting to find nail head type needles, I was planning on re using the "button" off the stock needles. I can't see any identifying marks on the needles that were in the carb. How can I determine which needles I have. I...

Dirty and rusty is fine I need it for mock up and and to figure out some dimensions.

So is it Just the front loop? I don't need the swing arm, but I am looking for frame that at least still has the swing arm bosses. If you don't mind, send me a pic of what you have.

I think the angle of your U brace is too inline. It is a straight line from the swing arm to where the shock is attached to the frame. the angle needs to be raised higher towards 90 or when the shock is compressed the brace will end up below the shock.

I wouldn't trust my life on those welds especially the upper frame. If you are going to have to cut it of or even grind them down and weld them again you might as well look into the special shown above and start fresh yourself.

I have the push/pull throttle from the ninja I got the carbs from. Got the carbs, throttle cables, everything for $50. The carbs are in great shape.

If anyone knows a good place for jets and needles in Canada please let me know. The jets r us site pretty much says they don't want to ship to Canada, they suggest getting someone in the US to purchase them and then send them to you if you live in Canada.

Would it be good to fit them with both the push and the pull cables? I got the kawasaki throttle when I bought the carbs.
