What about making some axle plates along the same lines for building a hard tail. This way a person could use the swingarm as a jig for alignment. Then once done they can remove the swingarm.

I'am need a dual lobe bushing for switching to single points. Also need the rotor removal tool for same. I know they are available at Mikes . Just figure someone may have both of these and changed over to pamco and have a extra rotor tool. TIA

I have a xs650 that is being upgraded in area's that I feel need work. I also have other bikes that are in need of upgrades as well. At some point in time you will want to do some changes to the bike. The gearing is a easy fix by changing the sprocket's .This will also help reduce the vibes...

I like the fact that there are parts being made for the XS. Now Myself I do not like the look of it just hanging there. I would rather go with a banshee and a pamco with a small battery. And I understand that a mag is not a charging system . Which is what I'am collecting parts for at this time.

Just take the tumblers out and use a old GM door key.

That is a easy fix. Sometimes the easy fix is what we forget about. I have several 1100 s and one is going Leading link so will have extra parts for the 650

Yes that is why I would do it . Would be a double whammy I would think. And with the 5 gear change .I would change the revs as well . Should be a smooth running conversion. Not sure what head mods would be doing . I'am sure there are some that would improve performance .

Why not have a pulley attached to the front sprocket and run a 12 volt permanent magnet motor off of it.
