If your brass fitting has a pipe thread that screws into the nut, thread tape will work.

ThreeBond 1194 is the equivalent of yamabond, and is available at most autoparts stores or motorcycle shops.

Ardcore choppers sells a kit. They don't have it listed on their parts page, but if you call them they will set you up with what you need. That is where I got mine.

I have painted 2 new tanks in the past 10 yrs. I did not apply any sealant to the inside of the tanks and I have had zero issues. I know guys who had issues from sealing them, such as vent tubes getting plugged. My opinion....Not necessary

After you weld it, wrap it with header wrap..

Also you have to make sure that the knurled portion of the handlebar will line up with the distance between the risers. Some bars are knurled for 3/1/2 " spacing and some are for 4" spacing. I guess either way will work but the risers wont be grabbing as much of the knurled part of the bar, and...

I am using the stock axle adjusters on my hardtail. Just keep the chain at the correct tension, and you won't have any issues.
