Speedometer cable installation (up or down?)
Morning. Is there an up or down for the speedo cable? On one end you can pull the inner cable out of the outer sleeve. Does that end go to the hub or speedometer? Does it matter? Thanks- Wanderer

Can anyone identify this part?
Howdy folks. Just got my head and cylinder back from Millennium, and in the bag of loose parts was this item. I can't identify it for the life of me, and I think it might not even be from my XS! If anyone can identify it I'd be much obliged, Thanks- Wanderer

Speedometer gear ratio question
Hello fellow XS enthusiasts. I have a 1977 XS650, and I noticed that my speedometer seemed to be reading about 10 mph slower than actual speed at 60 mph. I verified this with the help of my phone's GPS. I tested the speedometer gear ratio and it turns out to be 2.75:1. What is the correct ratio...- Wanderer
