    Ordering from Heiden Tuning

Another vote for Central Wheel Components - They did a great job on my 19" flat tracker rims 6 or so years ago (which have then sat in the garage collecting dust, waiting for me to actually finish the build....)

Any tips on mounting a fiberglass tank?

Hi there, I will be treating the tank prior to using but also being from the UK, I think we have less ethanol in our "gas" than in the US, something like up to 5% vs 10% in the US so hopefully I'll be ok. I will be rubber mounting for sure but I need to give it some thought so that it sits...

Any tips on mounting a fiberglass tank?

Hi all, I've got a XR style tank (and seat unit) from Gopher Glass (their "modern" version) but am wondering how people normally mount these to an XS frame? Many thanks, Joe

Hey Halfmile, I have seen them, I think the weiss ones are marginally ahead. All the best, Joe

    Weiss Adjustable Triple Clamps

I have t agree that I do like the MotoLanna ones but the R6 forks I'm using are 43mm and I need them to be wider enough to fit the fat dirt track tyre on the 3 inch rim :). All alternative suggestions welcome :)

    Weiss Adjustable Triple Clamps

Hi Guys, I'm slowly piecing parts for my tracker build, I've decided to go full width rims (3" front, 3.5" rear) and as such am in need of some clamps. Being in the UK I'm short on ready made options however I'm visiting NY in about 5 weeks so thought I might as well bring some home with me...

    Mikuni TM34 German Topham Setup

Slightly off topic, did you have the wide yokes made or are they off another bike? (Maybe one of the Suzuki cruisers?). I need a set making for my street tracker but I'm not sure where is best to go in the UK? Thanks, Joe

    Jemco High-level Pipes

Thanks all, Contact made :) Question is, do I wait for the lousy USD:GBP exchange rate to sort it self out... This is for a project my Dad and I were going to do 10 years ago when it was $2:£1 ! Looking around 1.2 these days... Thanks all, Joe

    Jemco High-level Pipes

Hi all, Are Jemco still in business? I'm after a set of their high pipes, does anyone know how much they sell them for? Many thanks, Joe

    Widening swing arm pivot point?

Hi all, I'm looking to put in a GSX1100 (GS1100 in the US I think) swing arm in to my tracker project. Like most swing arms, it's too wide. I'll only be able to narrow the swing arm so much and from what I have read on the swap, around 5mm needs to be taken off both the bosses on the inside of...

    Street Tracker Assembly

I think another potential option could be a sportster rear hub, I think some others have used them.

    Street Tracker Assembly

Much appreciated, I hear you on the rear hub, really scratching my head in this department.

    Street Tracker Assembly

Holy thread resurrection Batman etc. Sorry to dig up an old thread but the swingarm use here really caught my eye, is it a one-off or from another bike? Is it longer than the standard XS swinger? Also, what hub have you used on the rear? Any info would be much appreciated, Joe

    XS750 carbs on a 650? (obviously only 2 of the 3...)

Hi All, I've been surprised with how straightforward it is to space them out to be honest. Like I said, I'm only going to use them to get the engine running on a stand before the real mods start. After that point I'll get either some more modern CV carbs of some VM's. I'm based in Norfolk and...

    UK Board Tracker Build Thread

I fear mine may also be glacial... Does the MotoLanna swinger come up any longer than stock? Do you have dimensions? Thanks, Joe

    UK Board Tracker Build Thread

Thanks Paul, I really like the style of this: I have the seat and tank (albeit in fibreglass), engine looks to be in decent nick (heads currently off) but as a US import it's a 477 type though I do have a spare (but very very ropey) 533 engine missing lots of bits. I'm missing carbs but have a...

    UK Board Tracker Build Thread

Paul, that is superb! I'm about to start a xs build myself (in the UK) and was wondering what spec your wheels are? I think I read somewhere in the 25 pages that they are 19 inch rims, what rims and hubs are you using? How about tyres? My project will be a street tracker and really want to go...

Cheers guys, I've got nothing to loose so might as well give it a go :)

    XS750 carbs on a 650? (obviously only 2 of the 3...)

Hi All, I'm about to start a build and have everything to get the engine running... except for the carbs... the XS650 was taken apart 10 years ago and as usual, some things have gone walkies, the carbs being one of them. Now as with most of us, I have grand ideas and don't intend keeping the...
