what about the depth to which the sensor needs to extend into the header? I see that there are bungs of different heights and I would like to not disturb the flow of gas much

read that the closer to the head the better. Here is also an exhaust from S&S for a royal enfield. Most important though is to not be close to any leaky joints between the headers, collectors and mufflers

thanks for your post Gary. I have exact same headers. Any reason for why 18" away? I am hoping to at first use an "analog" approach where I just aim my phone camera (the phone mounted on a holder) onto the rpm and AFR guages and record a video while riding. Will try to make a few steady runs...

Thanks for the post. I ordered an innovate unit and was also thinking about mounting the guage next to the tachometer and recording on video the two readings side by side. I am thinking about mounting bungs on the headers. While that may impact aesthetics, it is a sacrifice I am willing to...

Did you check the ground cable from the battery? I had my original cable break once because of vibration

I have used this battery for the last 8 years almost every day. PTX14AHLBS-FS. No issues and still going strong Bought it from mikexs. I remember that the first one they shipped was a dud. Then they replaced it and since then the battery has been worry free for 8 years.

You can probably have Sargent make a nice comfy seat for you
