    thanks for the help,the manifold had a hole in it,so it was sucking air.the throttle slide was sticking,so fitted a stronger spring,and re jetted the carb.now running a lot better.

    Hi guy,s. just finishedthe latest build of mine.Ihad a 2 into 1 inlet manifold made,and fitted a mikuni vm 36 carb.It run,s great on tick over,but when you rev it and let the throttle off the rev,s stay high and only drop down again after a couple of minutes.I have tried moving the needle up...

    xs650 second build

    this is the second xs650 build of mine.this one has a fzr 1000 forks and brakes,box section swing arm,2 onto 1 inlet manifold,with a mikuni vm 36 carb fitted.frame and wheels have been powder coated.the paint job i did my self with spray cans.

    Permanent Magnet Alternator

    Hi,fitted a permanent magnet alternator system.the only thing is i can only get 10volts at tickover. so switching the lights on just kills the motor.just rev it a little and you get 13-14 volts,and the lights work fine.is this a regulator fault,can any one help.

    Ninja EX500 carbs on an XS650?

    thanks for that,got some jets from allans performance.bike starts and runs better now.just found out my permanent magnet system is only giving 10volts on tick over,any ideas as to why.
