    Wanted - oil pickup/feed tube

    Wanted - oil pickup/feed tube

I'm looking for an oil feed tube that will fit on a 73 tx650. I'm not sure how interchangeable that is between the different year engines. I was really excited to finish my bike last night and hear it run until the lower fitting broke on the tube from being 40+ years old. I doubt I would be able...

Advance unit installation. Am i missing something?

I found another thread that showed the pin i forgot to install on the actual camshaft. It was the left over pin. Thank you for the input! and this will give me a chance to make sure the pins on the advance rod are on the same plane.

    Couple fuel tank questions

I normally use enough to cover the first 3-4 threads if it is a tapered thread. Then clean up the excess. Usually what i do at my work too.

Free - Start of a pass it forward thread

would there happen to be any working fuel petcocks for the 73 tx650 tank? I just replaced the filter in it and it pulled out when i tried to pull the hose off. They also seem to leak. Im just about to finish the bike and make it road worthy.
