Began to hammer out a new form to the saddle. Sat on it and I think it's gonna be very comfortable when it's done.

First my plan was to use black and copper (Metalizer) Plasti Dip on them but I really like the silver that I got on them now. But the best thing with Plasti Dip is that it can be removed. Maybe I´ll try it out. What are your alternatives?

Since I'm saving to afford building the hardtail I had to do something yesterday. Cleaned up the tires and painted the text on the front tire:

I'm 37 and bought my first bike 10 years ago. It was a XVS1100 Classic. Then I had a Harley. Last year I bought the XS to build (and hopefully ride some day).

That's not a bad idea! The bike is from -81. I don't have so much history on it but it seems to be in a fairly good shape considering the age. My goal is to make it a hard tail and "rebuild" the engine. We'll see how that goes...

Thank you! It looks cleaner than it is. And you only see a small part of the shop. Maybe I should have chosen a different color on the walls when I renovated it, but I´m thinking of painting some pictures on them later. Here´s a picture of it before I started to disassemble the bike:
