Hey guys, im wondering if its possible to lace an iron head 18 inch wheel with an early evo 40 spoke hub? Going to change the 16 inch wheel on the sporty.

Throttle shaft was replaced because the screws where stripped and I ruined the original shaft. Just curious why the idle dies when carb cleaner is sprayed at the throttle shaft seals. Figured something is a miss

The grooves are facing out. I believe the bike was an east coast bike its entire life. Checked the throttle shaft and there only seems to be side to side play. If any wobble play its hard to detect. And yes I only took apart only one carb but I should mention the shaft is a replacement.

so i been having a carb problem lately and finally figured out that the outer shaft seal on the right carb was leaking. went and got new o rings from yamaha and replaced the seals. bike starts up idles good. bike warms up and i go to sync the carbs, adjust idle mixture. same symptoms as before...

I'm looking to install wheel hub caps on mag wheels but I'm not quite sure on how to install them. I was thinking of running long bolts from one cap to the other and sandwiching them together with a nut. If anyone has any other ideas, Id like to hear them!

the welder can run on gas. How can you tell if you need more heat and how much wire speed is needed? If you have more heat does the wire speed increase? Anybody have good internet resources for beginners and understanding terminology?

i took the timing plate and points off. The felt is really dry and dirty. could they be reused and what kind of grease is recommended for the felt also the points look pitted and white. Im assuming that these need replacing
