any idea what will freeze - up one of these 650 twins ? it is a points engine. i bought it for $ 100.00 ..... the seller said it had very low miles..... it looks good on the outside it is still shiney !

i have a 1979 yamaha 650 engine.....it is a points engine...... do i still need some sort of electronic ignition or some sort of an ignighter ?

what years did yamaha 650s use regular carburators ? i believe that the carburators that were used on some engines were different than the early models......... they had big rubber diaframs inside the carb........ i think the others were like the mikuni.......... regular carburators . so what...
