    Broken fuel cap mounting point

Wait a minute, cra-Z1, did you say that a solvent dissolved the ring? If I could remove it, I could make a new one in steel, perhaps tacking two pieces together, and braze THAT to the filler neck.

    Broken fuel cap mounting point

Yeah, the magnet is obvious, but crappy "pot metal" would have a very weak attraction. And if you cast aluminum, it won't bend - even at 1/16" thick. Think of the fins on your motor. I'm thinking of some thin plate I could glue on either side of the tab. With glue on those pieces plus where the...

    Broken fuel cap mounting point

I don't know how they attach the ring to the filler neck. But I need convincing the ring and the tabs are steel before I'd bring a flame anywhere near them. Cast aluminum will turn to liquid in seconds, and then there's no going back..

    Broken fuel cap mounting point

Glued the piece with JB Weld, but it only held for a short time. Does anyone have a fix for this? It' looks like cast...

    RH throttle cable

I can't find a RH throttle cable for my '72 XS2. Mike's has the lefthand but not the right. What's the difference? Can I use two LH cables as the old one ain't bad? The RH's missing. I anticipate lower bars on it, if that helps, as I suspect the difference is in length. Thanks.

Do you have the 2 wiring harnesses for the gauge lights? I got gauges but wires are broken into both of them.

    bulb cross-referencing

I'm trying to find indicator lights for my '72 XS2. I know they're 12V 3W but that's all. Three have tow pins to hold them in and the neutral light has twin shoulders. The parts list shows they're all the same, but that one is definitely different. They must be available at an auto parts...
