    Just checked the float levels and they are set to 27mm. I think the mechanic was just mistaken when he said 17mm.

    So, again it started right up this afternoon. The battery only had a 26% charge. Again, the battery and stator are new. Could it be the alternator and it not putting out enough charging output? I'm charging the battery and don't know yet if the battery is bad.
