Got the new shock and made sure it was strong enough b4 welding mounts in place. Went with a Honda 600 F4i because multiple adjustors and availability

Found a Honda CB400 gas tank that I like the look of. Hope to have more done this weekend. Once I get this mono shock sorted out I can focus on the tail section.

Thanks @BobbedSled @MaxPete! I ended up swapping it for nitro off a GSXR 600. Hopefully I'll get it mocked up and put a load on it this weekend.

I've got to find a stronger shock. I was told this was off a mono shock 650 but as soon as I put the weight of the bike on it it bottomed out. Thinking R1shock or something amonalong those lines instead... Any suggestions?

Finally got the shock mounts make and ready to weld in.
