Well got the oil set just right, Hardly any smoke once warmed up a bit. Pulls much freer in the higher gears and revs higher aswell which I'll have to keep an eye on. It was actually way over oiling. Result. Couldn't be happier.

Howdy. It's January 81. The 80 model had problems with the header cracking at the inlet so they reinforced them and added engine bracing underneath for the 81 model.

Another importer who had a bike shop years ago that had since folded up, told me his biggest mistake was not bring more xs's into the country. I asked him if he had any and said they were the first thing that walked out the door.

After little riding for 3 weeks due to a bad back . I went out today on the FJ for around an hour. Wouldn't even attempt to kick start the xs yet. Would be back to square one.

Dort got me this Lead belly cd not long ago and did a little painting of him for me to put in the cave. Been listening to it a fair bit.

This is at Sandgate in Queensland . They kept an old bowser on the site so you could take a photo of it with your bike but some grub nicked the covers off it one night.

Love the old aeroplanes from that era. Thanks for the pics and video's.. I spent the first 6 or 7 years of my life in the late 60s early 70's living at Laverton in Victoria Australia. Everyday there were mirages, canberra bombers, wirraways and cariboo's in the sky. The best memories ever.

This is my rd350lc . The closest one is mine and the other ones a mates from down the road. I restored it 5 years ago or more and its just been run in on its second rebuild with me. I don't think these made it to the US. It never fails to make me smile.
