I just received my calendar and I think the XS2 on the cover is simply beautiful. Congratulations to all - I have enjoyed following the builds and seeing the end results. Thanks to everyone that makes this calendar possible.

I want to change the exhaust for sure - way too loud with those straight pipes. I have an assortment of parts and have decided to take the insurance off the 1974 TX650 and strip it of parts and sell the frame with the title. I will still have lots of parts left over for the 1972 XS-2 650...

This is my starting point. Added fender and chain guard to safety. Runs great 70 mph with little vibration. First up on the list - ditch those pipes, way too loud for me.
I have been enjoying your pictures and envy the weather. If you don't mind could you send me a link on your seat? I am interested in getting a loop on the back with that style of leather/vinyl seat. Cheers
I remember when the first one was released to Canada - a guy at my school bought a 69 white one and made all the 650 triumph guys just sit back with their mouths wide open. What a blast driving these bikes. Enjoy your restore. Cheers
