I would like to install a spin-on oil filter on my 77 XS650, came across 2 options I like the look of. But does one location work better than the other ?

I was going to try the KEDO Flat Ball Valve Adjusters, but they wanted $55 for a set of two, so I'll see how these work out.
I'm sure someone's come across this before, but if not here's a set up for replacing engine seals without splitting the case's. $172.00 in US dollars.

Hello all,
My name is Clive, live in Exeter, NH. Just picked up a 1977 XS650, $1300, runs and has a bunch of new parts on it. Lot's of potential I tell the Wife.
Saw a post the other day from a guy in CT with a fab/bike building shop, looks like he's the closest shop to me. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
