I took the entire cam tensioner assembly off of my 79 special to replace the gasket behind the plate because it was leaking oil. I put it all back together and Now when I try to start it all I get is a puff of smoke out of the carbs. Any ideas? Thanks!

The scoot has been sputtering horribly lately. I couldn't figure out why. I thoroughly cleaned the carbs, replaced spark plugs, cables, and caps, etc., etc., etc...
