My bike was running, now it's not. No spark. I have a boyer blue box. The coil is 1.6 ohms across the spade terminals. Is there any way to check the blue box, and is the ohms on the coil right?

I'm getting close to finishing this bike. I'm painting the tank, electric box, and rear fender candy apple green. As for the frame I don't know, what would go well with candy apple green?:shrug: NO YELLOW! Yellow is too obvious, it's the last resort.

So I ground off the old kickstand base and bought a new one. A plain jane weld on chrome kickstand. My question is where should I weld the new one back on? I've seen them all the way on the back of a bike. The only place I'm not welding it is where I ground the old base off. Just got a few more...

Has anyone worked on Boyer Bransden ign. Ok, the pos. wire coming off the coil goes to what? It says orange. I look up the 650 wiring diagram and orange is the contact breaker. Contact breaker goes to ground. Points were taken out thus no breaker. So do I just hook to ground? It's the...

I'm having a hell of a time getting the sprocket nut off. Tried a two foot breaker bar with all my weight on it (I'm 220lbs). Hit it with a impact wrench, no good. Any tips? Oh, I got my handlebars in, I love em'.

How does everyone feel about those 34mm Mikuni VM round slide carburetors, and are they a lot better then the OEM. Are they worth the $300.00. Just got my tax check, and I feel rich.:D

Got a hartail, so no OEM air box. I know the intake manifolds can't hold the carbs on alone. Does anybody have pics of their carb brackets?

PO cut out the braces behind the steering head. Should I replace them, or is it good to ride without.

Is there any way to get a new clutch push rod seal in, without cracking the case. Or can you crack the case without taking the top end off or apart. I tested my compression, got about 130 psi. each side. I'd rather not screw with the top end if I don't need to.

I'm installing a Boyer Bransden ignition. I heard that the three or four screws that hold the brushes on the stator have to be switched out for nylon screws. They're not to be grounded. Is this right?

I'm assuming it's not good when I can pull out the clutch pushrod. That could also mean that the little steel ball is gone.
