    I had to order #20 jet and 190 main and it runs fine now still a bit rich but idles nice and no popping- its going to take some time but just keep changing them till you find the right set up. 3rd slot on needle also double check throttle cable!! so slides are all the way down.

    put right side case back on after replacing washers that go behind clutch basket- guess what she's a runner now, very happy to say it took it down the block today for the first ride.

    very interesting read, I think we're ready to go to Mars with this clutch now, why didn't these genius at Yamaha figure this stuff out when they built 1st. motor? the springs in my flywheel or flexplate behind hub are not all equal pressure, could this be a factor of clutch non-disengagment...

    Hi 2m-yes it moves the same as in video #1 , has at least 2mm of movement when lever is pulled- with bike running put into 1st. will give it gas, bike tries to roll but stalls- tried to break loose with front tire up against work bench gave it lots of rpm holding clutch lever in put in 1st crack...

    here's the problem-bike stalls when put in 1st gear- clutch plates sticking? that's what I thought what else can cause this>??? took right cover off dis-assemble clutch pack 7 fiber-6 steel (2fo) motor-long rod upgrade.discs out big washer,bearing,washer, remove hub can't get large spacer off...

    What have you done to your XS today?

    swapped out #15 pilot jet to #25 bike finally started after 25 kicks-got it to a nice idle but still stalling when I pull in clutch-going to pull right cover tomorrow and take a look at clutch

    so from the adj. side I can see the adj. nut move probably about 1/8"- I mic'd all disc before I reinstalled measured good- also mic'd springs all good these are the only parts I didn't replace with new ones- 1pc. rod upgrade-
