'78 Special. I've done a lot of work on this baby. But the PMA needs the upgrade.

That was my first thought as well. I was at 1200, but I even upped it to 1500 to see...no dice. When it's idling it seems to be running great. It doesn't sputter or run rough at all. I called a mechanic and he suggested checking the air flow on the carbs and the ignition.

May be useful to say that I'm still running the points ignition. Wondering if I need to go with the Pamco.
