I noticed that I have a broken spoke on my rear wheel. It's been bent back on itself so I imagine it was ridden some while broken. Can I just put a new spoke and nipple in and snug it up without a problem?
The Harley mufflers I had planned to use interfered with the brake lever too much. I found these Commando style mufflers on eBay for $90.00. I like them better.
if I were going to buy a 4.00x18 and a 3.25x19 plus tubes where would I get the best price including shipping? Any suggestions on tube brands that are best value. This would be in the US.
I can't remember how the latch goes back on the tank. The tiny circlip disappeared the instant I touched it with my knife tip. Is there a video or tutorial on the cap? Can anyone post a picture or suggest an easy way to get the pin back in?
Here's what I've done so far. I'd still like to get some original handlebars and a better gas tank. I am going to use these Harley mufflers my friend found at the dump. They look quite a bit like the original mufflers.
Are the rims on the 650B anodized or did they have some sort of clear coating on them? Any suggestions on making them look better? I can't tell if it's corrosion or some sort of coating coming off. I will not be unlacing them.
