    Yeah..the bike came with it! I'm not sure if it's for cooling/lighten or if it was two different flywheels welded together. Regardless, it works!

When refering to visual TDC, i was meaning that it was a small amount of travel to the very top of the piston movement. I understand that i need to impede the piston before TDC and mark it...

    Thanks Dave. Should this be done on the compression stroke or doesn’t it matter? How much difference should one expect between the two TDC markings? I’m going to check the pins tonight and insure they’re both in the right place

    Thanks mate. I made sure to back the valves off fully and to make sure the piston stop didn’t hit them or go too deep into the cylinder to make a flase TDC reading. I spent some time doing this.

    Thanks Pete. I tested it using your website method and it’s fine. I already have the rotor, should i get another or just get the plate? I’m in Australia so it will probally take a while to get here! Are there no other tests to confirm funtionality other than the spark test?

    Hi again Pete. Tested the new coil and it tested fine (4phm and 22k, all others infinite) from your website test using old 5k caps. I have new ones on the way just in case. It’s wired as: Red/white power from kill switch and red from Pamco onto (+) coil terminal Green from Pamco onto (-)...

    Good to know Pete. I wired it all up with a brand new Emgo dual coil and no spark, even when tested with the locating pin removed. I'm going to go through and test the coil again tonight based on your website. Are there other tests i can perform on the PAMCO through a multi meter to confirm...

    Testing a PMA stator

    Now i'm confused! Everywhere I've looked, it has the multi meter test or the AC test when the bike's running. How should i test this with the 12V battery? Hook the battery up to one of the three wires and the test lamp on another, then cycle through the three like that?

    Hi all, my '79 has a PMA kit (off another brand bike) and i currently have a in-line fuse which has a built in LED running from my red power wire to my battery. When idling, that LED flickers on and off as if the PMA/Reg is pulsing power back to the battery. Is that correct? Another question...
