    750 big bore carbs

Darryl got all of his cams done by " a local cam guy". Otherwise known as Clive at https://www.clivecams.com.au/. Has 50 years experience. All Clive has ever done is cam building/ regrinds. Bought out the company he did his apprenticeship with when they closed. Stared as an apprentice aged 13...

    UPS

Here, I fixed it for you. Like everything, this can be understood with math. The really, really important thing is the number of little old ladies that have been robbed or raped at gunpoint or shot and killed in the last quarter century in the USA because the perp had a firearm. More than 35 I bet.

    UPS

Hello, another Australian here. Just wanted to state for the record that we did not individually, collectively or otherwise give up our right to keep or bear arms. We made it more difficult for a few lunatics to obtain firearms because we collectively and individually felt that the rights of...

    Life in Woking...

I work in mental health. You wouldn't believe what people will take and get addicted to. And the bizarre things they do while high. Butane is so easy to get. Big hardware stores have it by the box full in 60 gram pressure packs. $8.45 AUD. Less than half the price of a packet of 20 cigarettes...

Installing a Vape all in one charging and ignition system.

I realise it's a little late but when I was fitting the rotor for one of these I found a rotor puller very handy. You can use it to hold the rotor just a mm away from seating on the crankshaft, enough to spin it to exactly where you need it to be before unscrewing the puller and letting those...

Heiden Tuning are they still in business ?

When I bought a few parts from them 6 months ago, I went to Paypal, searched for their email or business name there and sent the money across. Parts turned up a few weeks later. No problem. Their website says about something doing that but the english does not make sense.

Finding Neutral while stopped and in gear

Hi, just a few observations, I've torn down my engine after reading this thread and found zero wear in the points that seem to have caused you problems. Have you checked to see if the shift drum needle bearing is installed at the right height ? It seems that many people re-install this flush...

    Cush Drive Rear Hub Alternatives

A Suzuki GR650 rear can be made to fit. It's a 16 inch wheel, 36 spokes, looks right at home. Right axle diameter but the original cush hub has way too much offset. Buy one from a 1980's GPZ750 and machine it down. Relatively simple if you are handy with a lathe. The outside diameter of the GPZ...

making a side plate out'a PVC.

The easiest source of flat ABS is a Luthier's Supplies. Electric guitar pick guards are ABS. Most stores sell it in 2mm thick sheets. Like here - http://www.stewmac.com/Materials_and_Supplies/Pickguard_Materials/Black_Pickguard_Material.html The best solvent to use is M.E.K. - methyl ethyl...

Anybody interested in one of these?

And with some luck, there's room for cush drive rubbers from a Ducati or similar. I've been having similar ideas, but without the skills to do it..

    Foot clutch conversion kit

I don't know either and I agree with what you say about risks etc. Choppers builders are a world of individuals. A lot of older Indians etc had this as standard. It's the way that person wants to build their bike.

    Foot clutch conversion kit

Yep. Point is foot operated clutch, hand operated gear change. The hardest part seems to be working out how to make a foot operated clutch.

Hugh has written a detailed article on rephasing a crankshaft. Have a look around his website. If it's not on there he will have a link to it.

Engine Swapping... No... The *OTHER* Way

No, not mine, just something I saw and liked. Looks very neat and would be a decent ride. I am envious of the R.E. Interceptor though. A very under appreciated bike.
