Original AGM worked just fine for 9 years in my Harley and only removed it for piece of mind.

And unless you were sitting there revving the engine the only thing that happened was you killed the engine and had to restart the bike.

Gary, here are the pics you requested. I must say after getting the PAMCO ignition installed today I am very impressed with the ease of starting both electric and kick. Will have to wait at least 4 months before I can try it on the road. I don't ride on the ice or on roads that have Mag Chloride...

I am referring to coil mount.

Of mount or why suggested would not work?.........will try to get tomorrow.

Attempted to install Pamco Pete ignition. But no way could it be mounted in the suggested method so had to fabricate mount. Hope to finish up tomorrow.

Owned a 69' Bonneville and a 72' XS2. Rode a friends 750 Commando. Commando was the fastest followed by the Bonneville. Bonneville was the best handler and the XS2 the most reliable.

I had the "QWIKSILVER" on an CX500 and it was great. Would not hesitate to put one on my XS.
