    I was warming up my 81 XS650H this morning when suddenly it just shut off. The starter still cranks the motor, but it's not firing. The neutral safety light, horn, and turn signals all stopped working too. Fuses are all good in the fuse box. I did have a battery charger on it when it happened...

    I went to the storage unit today and figured it was time to fire up the lil XS650. Pulled the choke knobs up, turned on the gas, turned on the ignition and hit the button. ...Cranked about twice and fired right up. sweet (It's been setting since November). I couldn't help myself, I rode it home...

    Update: Haven't had much time to ride this year but, two tanks of gas through the bike so far and it seems to be running just fine. still happy :-)

    Had to move some snow to get the bikes out, but I thought I'd post a preliminary update and some pics. I plugged in the battery, set the chokes, turned on the fuel and it fired in about 3 cranks.     I honestly don't know how many tanks of gas I can burn this year, as they are already talking about snow in these parts. I did get a chance to ride a bit more and am still pleased. I'll keep you posted.
