Great advice gggGary, thanks. I noticed the rear adjusters don't seem to line up right with the hardtail. I'll snap some pics later. It could be a simple shim, pretty sure the directions stated I could re-use all the OEM hardware.

Small update on my build. Got most of the rear cut, still have to smooth everything out. Set the new rear kind of in place just to get a visual of what it may look like......

Great looking, Did a nice job on it. I just ordered my weld on hardtail kit from tc Bros last night. Hopefully it turns out as nice as yours!

If you used a credit card just file a dispute. Let them get the money back and use this as a lesson learned! It's a shame though....

Thanks! Odometer reads 6,820 miles. Even has the factory tool pouch intact. Not sure what way I am going with this build, hopefully no daggers will be thrown at me but I'm not restoring to factory.

Also if the part is small enough you can put it in boiling water, then it will bend easily.
