    Fiberglass Tanks, liner ?'s

Guys running fiberglass tanks, what did you seal your tank with? I'm looking at the Caswell 2 part Epoxy right now. Haven't seen any horror stories as I have with Kreem, but I'm not repairing I just want to build strength against ethanol weakening the glass inside the tank.

    Hello XS650.com, first build.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you kream the tank before use? I had been debating but will surely go get a kit & kream it now. What electronics can I salvage off a 1998 Yamaha R1 for my XS650 Build?

XS650 Permanent Magnet Charging Swap Kits!

I have a Boyer Brandsen ignition. I was so hoping to keep the rest of the build low $$ but I also need to eliminate the battery box since my Uni's now occupy most of that space. A little history, I bought the bike as a pile of parts back in 07 good compression & spark when I got home & mocked...

    Crankcase breather

Anyone know if the dual breather can be replaced with a single? Stock airbox/carbs have been removed & I'd rather not have to use two breather filters.

18 " rear wheel mag that is

From what I understand the wheel you have is probably from a RD400. Search & you should find info to make the retro-fit to your 650 much easier than just diving in. I have one also that I picked up cheap on eBay a while back that will go on my street tracker project after pretty much...
