Thanks Leo I have not done a carb cleaning as the PO told me he just rebuilt the carbs. I wanted to trust that after having done the top end rebuild.

does anyone know why this might be happening? Just finished a top end rebuild and had it fired up and running great, then the engine seemed to bog down and the right carb started dripping gas. Not sure what the problem is.

Sorry it’s 79 650 special. It was at the front of the frame. It did have 2 horns in the box. Why you would want 2 horns... anyway thanks for the info.

This thing was mounted to my frame but it didn’t have any wires connected to it. I can’t find it on the wiring diagram.

where can I get a cam chain guide for a 1979 xs650sf? nobody seems to have one for this specific model. will just any year work?
