How can someone look at a carburetor and identify it as a bs34 or whatever? About the only thing I can find is the manufacture name. The model and size of the carburetor are not there. Is there a guide for identifing carbs?

Why does advance stop at 3,200 rpm. It seems logical that if that if you need 25 deg of advance going 1,200 to 3,200, you should need to keep advancing all the way to red line.
