    Hi, just an idea. Disconnect a gas tube and let gas flow into a bottle. If it runs nicely, test th other side. If only drops come slowly down, you have to clean youre petcocks, that happened ut me. Good luck!

    Hugh's PMA voltage output

    I belive your voltage should be higher. It shall push current to your battery, so the voltage out from your regulator Must be at least 12 - 14,4 volts dc. I am waiting for parts for my Hugs PMA, hop it is good for my 1975. Was your regulator hooked off when measuring?

    79 xs650 carb floats.

    Some years ago i had the same with my -77 Honda. (This was 50, as in 650 but 600 less!) Soldering worked fine at least for the years i owned it. I'd make sure all the gas is out before soldering.... good luck!:thumbsup:

    I cant help it, but i really like these BMW's. Both the old R100 from the 80's and this one in the picture. Have never tried one, but i know they have shaft and have been early out with safety like abs-brakes and so on.

    Leo or anyone, can my 75 run without the brushes mounted? I just put in new brushes without any result, then i disconected and found only 1 ohm at rotor. And it wont run!

    Racerdave, try EvapoRust.com I have tried it on some small parts and it seems good. This winter i will do my tank, just have to make something where the petcocks normally stays.

    Oil Sump Question

    Hi, mine has flat washers on the bolts. I had no problem removing them, but the plate needed some work to come loose. I also cleaned the gasket area on both sides and put on a new gasket. No problem! :thumbsup:
