    Back firing. Not starting

Ok ill check that out today. I would assume its getting spark, since its trying to start. In the past when I've had no spark I would kick it over and over again and I would get nothing. As well as fuel. If its not getting fuel then it should have at least started when I hit it with starting fluid.

    Back firing. Not starting

1968 xs650. I'll post pics of carbs. I just put fresh gas in and no difference. I dont think theres is blockage in both petcocks simultaneously. My gas tank has 2 prtcocks that connect to one. But even when I give it a birt of starting fluid it does the same thing, it should run for 30...

    xs650 backfiring and popping

No I did not tinker with jets at all when I put new filters on. I am suspect that its running too lean . But I was thinking that the popping sound from the exhaust means that I'm too rich? Wouldn't it cause it to pop if there was extra fuel that wasn't being burned and it cycled through the...

    xs650 backfiring and popping

I think they looks like that because the filters are so big and the capacitor is mounted in between them , so the filters kinda point out and down a bit
