Hi mixed up the bearing races ones thinner is that the in bottom or top of stearing head 😉👍

Thanks for the info any ideas who skinnyboy customs were I can’t find any info why I ask is I picked up a sportster tank which has been sprayed with an xs650 graphic wording by skinnyboy customs ??

Both bikes have gone thru more changes can’t help myself will post pics the 78 my sons has no indicators and custom speedo but wants small neutral indicator most diagrams have the sky blue /brown wire control ,the light works but stays on when in gear the bike does not have a sky blue wire in...

Hi to all just thought you guys might like my 79 Xs ( ethel ) for the calendar :D

Seem to have done something wrong with headlight I have one wire comeing out of hi/lo switch does this go to yellow high beam wire also we’re would my low beam green wire go to make headlight come on when engine starts cheers again

Ok guys horn sorted just got to figure the headlight now ?! Thanks for all the info also sorted custom indicators cheers :)

my son is customising his 79 xs650 and got a new switch for horn and high beam the wireing consist of red /white live to switch green horn button and black high beam button how is this connected to the bike cheers I’ve bench tested and it works but no luck when I’ve tried to wire to bike loom...

Yambits have the 2 top springs but not the actual shaft return spring they do one for the 400se code is 90588 not sure if it’s the exact same for 650 model ?!! :umm:

After doing some more checking I think the torsion spring could be correct, the above springs seem to high . Cheers the clutch basket would need to come off :sick:
