i'm going to go back and check my wire connections to the micro box and the coil.i may have a bad wire somewhere. thanks for your imput

ok i was able to get the right readings on the stator ,

i have no spark ,i am using only my kickstarter my starter is not working now .the bike has started up and ran good a few week back .but now it wont start.my volt tester with light shows power to the coil.

mi bike is an 81 with t ci ignition ,i have a double connector that has red/white and orange wire that went to the stock coil setup.

i think i ran the black wire to the neg terminal on the coil.

i am at work now so ill have to take some picture and post them for you to see.

i wasnt getting 69 ohms i was having getting anything the tips on the probes are making it hard.i tried to lay them flat .

if you scroll up on this thread you can see an attchment from boyer troublshoot they have the picture there testing the little coils on the stator where they are soldered on other side and should read 30 ohms.

i have the red /white wire going to the blue box for power . ihave the white to ground.one black wire to the neg on the coil, the orange wire to the positive on the coil.and the black yellow and white black to the stator.

ok the stator ,i don't get 30 ohms when i check with my multi meter on the other side of the stator that has the solder .

i tested the the coils that are on the boyer that get the signal from the magnets .and i also checked those wires that you are testing in the picture.

i have a test light i get good connection when i touch the coil wires. The light is bright no flickering. is it possible to have current enough to light the test light bulb but not enough to fire the plugs?

i tested the boyer ignition copper windings i don't get 30 ohms like the boyer site says.

my battery is good ,i am getting power to the coil .ive got new plugs and wires .

i have power coming to the coils but no spark .ive cleaned my grounds and checked my fuses but no spark .im frazzled ive been working it every day .and then going to work so i can make more money to sink into this project.
