    the one going to deal with is "650xs direct" the ship from here in Canada which cuts done my cost, already emailed them about the jets "yes" after market, just have to wait till they get the pilot one back in stock.

    just food for thought, i have a cousin that is a die and tool guy, is it not possible to re drill the stock pilot and main jet to a bigger size? has any one tried? just wondering.

    sounds alright, but it's just a 4 1/2 inch steel tube with caps, if i can i'm just going to cut an 1 inch off and replace the cap, with luck the chain will miss it by about 1/2 inch, if not, plan "B" don't use it and bolt the electric ig> box to that bracket under the seat,

    been watching 650 direct for awhile the jet i want is on back order, has been for like a month, more waiting. Then mocked up the bike to see what it looks like, and found out my drive chain runs pretty much through the center of it, about the width of it's self, Toss up, cut about an inch off...

    you may be on to something, when i got her the exhaust pipes had been drilled, i'm wondering if they switched carbs, and i'm finding gasket maker every where, engine covers, and the tapet covers too, maybe switching carbs smooth things out, wierd, ser# says it's an 79/80.

    floats are brass, seen them reading the jet size.

    got to ask someone, since i have to re jet main has stock 132.5 going to 135 or 137, pilot is 42.5 thinking 45, am i in the ball park? thoughts?, do i need a new needle also? should just buy a dyno kit from mikes?
