is that a deep tunnel?

I have a 79 xs650 special but im thinking of putting it up for 1,200... All original except air filters and handle bars. I can send a pic if you are interested. I'm in Omaha NE

It might be a while before it is done. I work at methodist three days a week, run my own pest control company, going back to school, and have two kids and a wife. The bike is probably gonna be a slow process for now... but i will let you know when i get some progress on it!

I like the sound of the open baffle a lot better than the stock pipes and it didn't take very long to do! Eventually i will be ordering a set of pipes from some of the guys on here but i am wanting to get my brat kit done before i do anything else.

I recently rebuilt my carbs on my 79 xs650 special. i also replaced the clutch cable and the the spark plugs and wires. After i put everything back together the bike will not start... I am getting spark and it does turn but just wont fire. I put mikes XS pods on and bumped the main jets to 140...

can tuning the rotor be done on a motorcycle? if not does anyone know where i can get a set of stock rotors?

i used that and it didn't work...

I have recently replaced the front and rear brakes on my bike and i thought i cleaned everything well but the rear brake squeaks like crazy no matter what i do... I did not know if anyone had any suggestions or if there is anything i can or should do to the rotor to help. I would get new rotors...
