    Phantom 78 650 rebuild Part 2

So, I’m back. I’m asking for reliable rebuild or replacement master cylinders front and rear and new hoses. I don’t want junk. Suggestions more than welcome. Tires, chain and a headlight and she will be on the road again. Can’t wait. Haven’t been on a bike since mid eighties. Thanks.

    Ignition circuit diagnosis.

Hey, I’ve got my 78 togeather. I even fixed the inop starter gear while I had the primary cover off. I have no ignition switch locking mechanism, and the kill switch was damaged in the accident. Best manual, not shop or tech. Best detail for novice to advanced

Howdie, I see Clymer and Haines on EBay. Wondering about buying a manual that has best reputation. And where to get it. Also would like to get experience on seal replacement for 45 year old special. Gear shift shaft, clutch rod seal, kickstart shaft, valve cam seals. Should all be replaced...

Are these interference engines? I just found an exhaust valve inside my rt. Cylinder. Stem still in the head. Snapped off at the base of the stem.

11/77 (edit by GG) manufacturing date. This se has been stored since 1985. 12,000 original miles. I kicked it over 2 times, then engine would not move. I backed up the engine, pulled the right exhaust pipe and saw the exhaust valve was gone but the stem was still in the head under spring...
