Have you tried taking your petcock off and disassembling it, cleaning it out? I had this problem and the once and It was a combo of the gas cap and a clogged up petcock. Posted via Mobile

I know it sounds like a no-brainer, but if you're not paying attention its fairly easy to put those slides In backwards. It will drop down, but not fully. If you haven't already, pop your filter off and have a look to make sure the slide is at the proper height.

Are you positive there's no spark? Did you put new plugs in when you did the pamco swap? If you find that you actually have spark, it may be your gas cap vent. Try popping the lid next time you go for a ride and see if that helps.

Mikes has those in stock. They have me for about an extra 100 bucks at this point. The full kit comes up out of stock on the site but Ive been able to order all the seperate parts at their full price... interesting. Oh well, hopefully ill have it back on the road soon.

Hey guys, I'm trying to get all the parts together to install a pamco 277 rephrase ignition kit. I initially tried ordering the full kit from mikes but it was sold out, so now I'm stuck piecing it together. On mikes site it says the advance rod needs 2 bushings, on the pamco installation guide...

I'm looking for an auto advance retainer nut for an 81 xs650. Im installing a pamco 277 kit but of course the new advance I ordered didn't come with the retainer ring. Mikes is sold out, does anyone have one for sale?
