    problem solved. Thanks a bunch turned out the copper washer that was in there was too thin and too small ( I think it was a brake fitting washer) any way it got worn to where it slipped inside the spring.:doh: Put 2 new thicker ones and instant quiet. Thanks again

    I swear you must have snuck in my garage and video`d my engine. Exact same noise .Hear on dry rotation. Metalic ringing, tinging at idle. I`ve checked valve lash 3 times. Love to hear what you find I`ve got the elephant foot aduster screws to try next.

    I finally got the bike up and running through all the gears. Still stock internals in the carbs 132.5 main and 42.5 pilot. Weak pull at top end. I got some 137.5 main and 45 pilots.and haven`t put them in yet. Am I wasting my time to try this or should I start with 142.5 I know there all...
