Charged battery, turned on petcock, gas came out of carb, rapped on float bowl with screwdriver and it quit , choked her and fired her up, drove around neighborhood for awhile. Now to figure out what to do with her

10,000 orginal miles. Trying to charge battery now. Third owner , pretty unmolested.

I bought the Chen cheapo front 19 and rear 16. Front worked but the rear was too skinny. I too would like a cost effective version.

I'm in the process of building one. I was trying to use a street sign for a seat pan but it was really tough to bend The bend is just right for a skid plate though wih some fab work . Will post up some pics

Hey your are correct sir , the lines are old and I have two front brake lines thrown together to make it long enough to fit the tall bars. I heard that stainless lines was the way to go? Maybe when I take her apart for a rebuild and quit riding so much? Thanks for the concern.

I have a front disc 19 and rear mag.16 Drum that I'm riding on now and a bearing is on the axle and won't come off. Needs to be cut or pressed off? I just keep riding it. Anyways I just want to ride, got some spokes? Wouldn't I have to change rear swing arm for rear disc?

Mine was like those. I smeared a bead of job weld o smooth it out and I am running them. I know safety first but I only wanted to ride this for test run 2 1/2 years ago , I will change them eventually ?

Rear drum which was a one year only thing on the 81. That's what I researched about it anyways
