i found the problem. The connector for the regulator was corroede BAD the red wire was broke off. I cut off the connectors and fixed all the wires. Its charging now,not alot tho got 13.7 at 3,000 rpms with headlight on. Better that it was atleast its charging again. i got 25 volts AC from the...

i found the stator rings carboned up bad. I cleaned them and still no charge :-(

Could be a bearing going bad in camshaft ends. Sound of cricket not at same speed as engine but increases with rpm.
